Welcome to Little Falls Public School! What a great place to be! On behalf of our entire school staff, we are excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year.

At Little Falls, we work to actively create an equitable and inclusive learning environment where all students feel a part of the school community.  This year, we will be supporting over 450 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. We believe that learning is a responsibility shared by the school, students, home and the greater community. Our focus remains squarely on our students, and working towards the key priorities outlined in our AMDSB  Strategic Plan, related to the pillars – I Am Well, I Am Prepared, and I Am Engaged.  We are excited to continue to grow our community connections as each of our classrooms have the opportunity to extend their learning outdoors and use our natural world as an extension of their classroom.

We have a very active School Council, who dedicate time and effort to raise funds so that our students are provided with a wide variety of extended technological and academic opportunities. Our School Council has fundraised to allow our students to participate in the Kiwanis Music Festival, for school performances, student planners, class trips, swimming, skating, technology, outdoor equipment and classroom resources. We appreciate all of the support provided by our School Council, and encourage all families to get involved.

If you would like to join our Little Falls volunteer community, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or the office staff.  We require a current Vulnerable Sector check from all individuals hoping to volunteer in the school.  These remain valid for a 2 year period, and can be obtained from the police service that supports your local area.

Whether you are new to Little Falls this year or you have shared your children with us for many years, thank you! We look forward to another successful year ahead.
